Get Your Report Now!Based on a new report from staffing firm Robert Half International, the increase is slightly above the 3.4 percent average for most professionals and mid-range between a 1.9 increase for legal workers and the projected 4.5 percent increase for IT workers.
Starting salaries for PR and marketing professionals with 1 to 5 years’ experience will range from $38,750 to $60,500 and salaries for those with more than 5 years’ experience will range from $59,000 to $82,750, according the report.
However, the report notes that while salaries may increase, the number of job openings may lessen as employers take longer to fill open positions.
