According to the article. health and safety engineers “develop systems and procedures that prevent sickness or injury and keep property from being damaged.” Job growth in the field was estimated at around 13 percent between 2010 and 2020.
The mention was well received by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). President Richard A. Pollock said that not only has demand increased, but the value of ESH professionals is also on the rise.
