In addition, the workers allege that if they forgot to punch-in after meal breaks, the company denied them pay for the remainder of the day. The lawsuit seeks damages, penalties, and restitution, the news service reports.

A company spokesperson tells Reuters that the company has not seen the lawsuit. The company has said that its policy is that employees must be paid for all hours worked.

The news service notes that the company has faced a number of lawsuits alleging labor-law violations. Last week, the company launched a national campaign to respond to critics of its labor and business practices. The company also created a website, www.walmartfacts.com, which the company says will offer the "unfiltered truth" about its practices.
