Get Your Report Now!California's current minimum wage (since 2008) is $8.00 per hour. Under the new legislation, on July 1, 2014 it will increase to $9.00 per hour. On January 1, 2016 it will increase again to $10.00 per hour.
The increase to $10 per hour would make California's minimum wage the highest in the nation.
