Wausau Insurance today announced it will become one of the first carriers in the marketplace to offer workers compensation products and services direct to consumers via the Internet in partnership with AtYourBusiness.com.

The partnership will enable small business owners and managers to apply for Wausau's market-leading workers compensation products and services. Through direct links with the AtYourBusiness.com web site, Wausau will process applications electronically and provide a binding quote directly to the buyer.

"All businesses, regardless of size, need an effective workers compensation program," said Gary Gregg, executive vice president and manager of Liberty Mutual's Commercial Markets. The service is expected to become available in February 2000.

AtYourBusiness.com provides integrated employee management services for small businesses.
