A researcher has found that the gaps between the wages of young female workers and young male workers in Dallas and New York are the biggest, the newspaper reports.

Full-time female workers between the ages of 21 to 30 in Dallas earned 120 percent of men's wages, according to research by Andrew A. Beveridge, a demographer at Queens College. In New York, female full-time workers in that age group made 117 percent of men's wages.

Experts tell the newspaper that two of the factors possibly leading to the wage gap are women graduating from college at a higher rate than men and women moving to larger cities in higher numbers.
