Split Decision on Impact of Proposed FMLA Changes
HR professionals aren't convinced on the whole that the Department of Labor's proposed changes to regulations for interpreting the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) are significant, according to a recent Compensation.BLR.com poll.

When asked "Do you think the proposed FMLA changes are significant?," just 54 percent responded "Yes" while 46 responded "No."

In a recent interview with FMLA expert Frank Alvarez, a partner at Jackson Lewis and national coordinator of the firm's Disability, Leave and Health Management Group, he identified eight changes (among the dozens in the 200+ page proposal) that were particularly meaningful.

Compensation.BLR.com subscribers can access the article detailing these changes here.

The Compensation.BLR.com poll included 125 respondents.
