Densealean Leftwich, 37, of Washington, D.C., entered a plea of guilty in United States District Court to one count of conspiracy to commit false, fictitious, or fraudulent claims. According to the terms of the plea, Leftwich could receive a maximum of six months of incarceration when she is sentenced before on June 14, 2006.

The Justice Department said that between January 2002 and August 2004, Leftwich conspired with a coworker to earn extra money by altering time and attendance forms to reflect additional overtime hours that the co-worker, a procurement technician, never worked. Prosecutors also said that Leftwich and the co-worker agreed that the procurement technician would pay Leftwich $200 each time Leftwich submitted a fraudulent time and attendance form on her behalf.

The Justice Department alleged that procurement technician received $29,500 for over 1000 overtime hours that she never worked. The co-worker has previously pleaded guilty and awaits sentencing.
